Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala. After settling in, you can unwind from your journey or, if time allows, explore the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Kibale National Park, home to Uganda’s largest population of chimpanzees. The scenic 5-6 hour drive takes you through lush countryside and traditional villages. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodation, have lunch, and later enjoy a guided nature walk at the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its rich birdlife with over 200 species.

Begin the day with an early breakfast, followed by a briefing at the park headquarters on chimpanzee tracking. With the help of an experienced guide, you’ll trek through the forest in search of these intelligent primates. The trek can last 1-4 hours, offering a chance to spot other wildlife such as red-tailed monkeys and black-and-white colobus monkeys. In the afternoon, explore the crater lakes region on a guided walk.

After breakfast, embark on a 5-6 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to more than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Enjoy the stunning landscapes along the way, passing through rural villages before arriving at your accommodation. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the gorilla trek the next day.
Following an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your trek to find one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. Led by expert guides and trackers, the trek can take anywhere from 2-8 hours, but the reward is an hour spent observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, embark on the Batwa Trail, a cultural journey with the Batwa people, the forest’s original inhabitants. After breakfast, you’ll drive back to Entebbe, with a stop for lunch along the way. If time permits, enjoy some last-minute shopping or visit a local craft market before catching your flight.
