The 3 Day Lake Bunyonyi and Gorilla Safari tour is ideal for clients that are both budget and have limited holiday time. The tour takes you through Kabale with the picture perfect sight of Lake Bunyonyi and the rolling hills.

The Adventure further takes you on an enchanting exploration into the jungles of Bwindi Forest, hiking the steep slopes, through misty shrubs, crossing water streams and following trails till you find a habituated family of mountain gorillas and spend an exhilarating hour in their presence.

Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Hotel
With an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi which literally means a place with “many small birds”. Along the way you shall have spectacular views of the rolling hills and the terraces of the Ugandan mountains that make it the “Switzerland of Uganda”

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Canoe Excursion on Lake Bunyonyi
Early morning, you will drive to Bwindi national park for an adventurous gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas.

Later enjoy a canoe excursion on Lake Bunyonyi as one of the deepest lakes in the world

Day 3: Drive to Entebbe and Departure
After a sumptuous, you will start your journey to Kampala. Cross the equator and have time to take photos at the equator. Buy a few souvenirs and have a quick picnic lunch. You will then drive to Entebbe airport to catch your flights back home.
