Meet Mrs. Nuru Namayanja, a 45-year-old Ugandan with a passion for wildlife and adventure. Nuru is the operations manager of Zootopia Game Drives, one of the leading provider of African safari tours in East African.
With over 20 yrs of experience in the tourism industry, Nuru has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that she brings to Zootopia. She oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, from managing staff to ensuring that each tour runs smoothly and exceeds customers’ expectations.
Nuru’s love for wildlife began at a young age, growing up in a rural Village
(Katiko) near Lake Wamala off Mubende-FortPortal road, a place with some of the areas iconic attractions especially on the lake. She spent much of her childhood exploring the great outdoors, which fueled her passion for nature and conservation.
After completing her studies in hospitality management, Nuru started her career as a safari consultant and worked alongside her husband (the Late. Ssekazza James Kiziri) in various organizations including A&k, wild frontiers and other leading tours across Africa’s vast wilderness areas. Her extensive knowledge of wildlife and the environment has earned her the respect of her peers and clients alike.
As an operations manager, Nuru is known for her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. She is committed to providing the highest level of service to every customer, ensuring that their safari experience is unforgettable.
In her free time, Nuru enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with her family. She believes that her work at Zootopia is not just a job but a calling, and she feels grateful to be able to share her passion for Africa’s wildlife with others.
