Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda

Your three-day gorilla tracking adventure in Rwanda begins with your arrival in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. You will be picked up by your guide and driven to your hotel, where you will have time to rest and freshen up.

After lunch, your guide will take you on a tour of the city, where you will visit some of Kigali’s most important cultural and historical sites, including the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. In the evening, you will have dinner at a local restaurant before retiring to your hotel.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Kigali and drive to Volcanoes National Park, where you will spend the day tracking mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Upon arrival at the park, you will receive a briefing from your guide and set out on a guided hike through the forest to locate the gorillas.

The hike can take anywhere from 1-6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas and the difficulty of the terrain. Once you locate the gorillas, you will have the opportunity to observe and photograph them for one hour before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking and Departure

On your final day, after breakfast, you will go for a golden monkey tracking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. You will have the opportunity to observe these playful primates as they swing through the bamboo forests, climb trees and forage for food.

After the golden monkey tracking, you will return to your lodge for lunch before departing for Kigali. Your driver will drop you off at the airport in time for your departure flight.
