Detailed Itinerary
Upon your arrival, we’ll pick you up from the airport or your hotel. If needed, additional accommodation before the tour can be arranged at an extra cost.
Day 1: Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your adventure kicks off after breakfast with a scenic drive to Lake Bunyonyi, located near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Along the way, we’ll stop at the Equator for some fun photos and interactive experiments. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch in Mbarara town before continuing through picturesque landscapes, passing by lush banana plantations, farms, and the rolling hills of Kigezi. You’ll arrive at Bwindi in the evening, ready to start your incredible journey.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Your day begins with an early breakfast before heading to the Rushaga sector Park Headquarters for registration and a briefing. Once ready, you’ll embark on a guided trek into the heart of Bwindi National Park to track the elusive mountain gorillas. The trek’s duration varies, ranging from half an hour to most of the day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. This unforgettable experience allows you to connect with these magnificent, endangered creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, taking the scenic route through the Ishasha sector, where you might catch a glimpse of the famous tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at either Elephant Hab or Pumba Safari Cottages.
In the afternoon, take some time to relax and soak in the surroundings before heading out for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Keep your eyes peeled for buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, and, with a bit of luck, lions or leopards as the sun sets over the savannah.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Begin your day with another game drive in the Kasenyi plains. After lunch at the lodge, you’ll take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This cruise provides sightings of hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds.

Day 5: Return to Kampala/Entebbe or Airport
