5 Days Eastern Region Discovery

Overview:
This 5-day adventure will take you on a journey through Uganda’s Eastern Region, from the adventure capital of Jinja, to the stunning Sipi Falls and the remote Kidepo Valley National Park. You will have the opportunity to explore the source of the Nile, go white-water rafting, and enjoy game drives in some of the most spectacular wildlife parks in Africa.

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Jinja and the Source of the Nile
After breakfast, you will travel to Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. You will visit the source of the Nile, where the world’s longest river begins its 4,000-mile journey to the Mediterranean Sea. You will also have a chance to go white-water rafting, kayaking or bungee jumping on the Nile.

Day 3: Sipi Falls and Mount Elgon National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Mount Elgon National Park, passing through verdant tea plantations and small farms. You will arrive in the afternoon and hike to the stunning Sipi Falls, a series of three waterfalls that plunge into a deep gorge.

Day 4: Game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of the most remote and stunning wildlife parks in Africa. You will enjoy a game drive, looking for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals that inhabit the park.

Day 5: Summit the Wanale hill then return to Kampala
On your last day, Hike Wanale Hill which is located near the town of Mbale. It is an ideal destination for hiking, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including Mount Elgon, the Sipi Falls, and the town of Mbale.

This is a good opportunity for you to enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, take some amazing photos, and explore the natural beauty of the area, before returning to Kampala in the evening. The trail to the summit of Wanale Hill is well-marked, and it takes about 2-3 hours to complete the hike, depending on your fitness level.

Later, You will have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs, have dinner and spend the night in a hotel in Kampala.

The Next morning our guide will drop you to the Airport for departure.
