Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

• Arrive at Entebbe International Airport.
• Welcome by a Zootopia Game Drives representative and transfer to your accommodation in Entebbe.
• Overnight: The Boma / Lake Victoria Hotel / Protea Hotel (B&B)

Day 2: Entebbe – Sipi Falls (6-7 Hours)

• Drive east via Jinja to Mbale town, charmingly located at the foot of Mt. Elgon.
• Enjoy a lunch stop in Mbale before reaching Sipi Village, nestled among mountains and waterfalls.
• Dinner and overnight: Lacam Lodge (B-L-D)

Day 3: Explore Sipi Falls

• Morning hike to Sipi Falls, exploring waterfalls, maize fields, and banana plantations.
• Afternoon visit to a local Coffee Project to learn about coffee processing and enjoy freshly brewed coffee.
• Dinner and overnight: Lacam Lodge (B-L-D)

Note: For an extra thrill, consider abseiling near Sipi Falls (available on request).

Day 4: Sipi Falls – Kidepo Valley National Park (10 Hours)

• Early morning departure towards the border with Sudan, entering Kidepo Valley National Park.
• Overnight: Kidepo Savannah Lodge / Acholi Lodge (B-L-D)

Day 5: Full Day Game Drives

• Morning game drive in Narus River Valley, searching for giraffes, ostriches, zebras, elephants, and lions.
• Optional nature walks or relaxation at the lodge.

Day 6: Karamojong Cultural Experience

• Learn about the unique nomadic lifestyle and rich traditions of the Karamojong tribe.

Day 7: Kidepo Valley National Park – Murchison Falls National Park (7 Hours)

• Head south to Murchison Falls National Park, entering from the north with a game drive en route.

Day 8: Game Drive, Boat Cruise, and Hike to the Falls

• Start with a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile.
• Afternoon boat cruise on the Nile for close-up game viewing.
• Dinner and overnight: Paraa Safari Lodge / Murchison River Lodge (B-L-D)

Day 9: Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Forest

• Guided chimp tracking in Budongo Forest, searching for a habituated chimpanzee family.
• Dinner and overnight: Budongo Eco Lodge (B-L-D)

Day 10: Murchison Falls National Park – Jinja (5-6 Hours)

• Depart the park, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the only wild rhinos in Uganda.
• Continue to Jinja and stay overnight at the Source of the Nile.
• Dinner and overnight: The Haven – Honeymoon Bungalow (B-L-D)

Day 11: Jinja Source of the Nile

• Spend the day at leisure, relaxing by the natural pool or reading a book by the Nile.
• For adventure seekers, consider rafting on the Nile or other optional activities like bungee jumping or quad biking.
• Dinner and overnight: The Haven – Honeymoon Bungalow (B-L-D)

Day 12: Departure

• Depart with unforgettable memories and experiences from Uganda.
• Transfer to Entebbe Airport for your international flight. (B)
